This Privacy Policy explains how Miclody (“Miclody”, “we”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you use http://165.245.197.120 and our related services.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed) and artist profile information.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive your billing name, email, country, plan and payment status, but not your full card number.
- Creative content: prompts, lyrics, audio, artwork and release metadata you submit.
- Payout details: information needed to pay your creator balance and meet tax obligations.
- Form submissions: messages and details you send through our waitlist and contact forms.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar technical logs, including analytics collected through Google Analytics.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: generate tracks, prepare and deliver releases, and track eligible video uses.
- To process subscriptions, payments and creator payouts.
- To communicate with you about your account, releases, earnings and support requests.
- To secure the Service, prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
- To understand usage and improve features, including using de-identified creative inputs and outputs to improve our models and tools.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service: with payment processing (Stripe), hosting and email providers, AI model providers that generate audio on our behalf, music and social platforms you distribute to (release metadata and audio), rights-management partners that detect video uses, and professional advisers. We may also share information if required by law or to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep account data while your account is active. After you close your account we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records longer for tax, accounting, payout or legal reasons.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (running your account and releases), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service), legal obligation (tax and accounting) and consent (non-essential cookies and marketing). You may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may request to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Miclody does not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Your choices
You can update your account details at any time, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email, and contact us to access or delete your data.

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. If changes are significant we will tell you by email or in the Service.
