Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Miclody uses cookies and similar technologies on https://miclody.com and in the Miclody app.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, are covered by this policy too.
Cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Sign-in sessions, security and form protection, checkout, and remembering your cookie choice (mc_consent). | Always on |
| Analytics | Counting visits and seeing which pages and features are used (for example Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity). Helps us improve the site. | Only if you allow it |
| Marketing | Measuring our ads and showing relevant ads on other sites. | Only if you allow it |
We also count page visits on our own server without any cookie: an anonymous ID that changes every day, with no IP address stored.
Your choice
On your first visit we ask what you allow. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you say yes: choosing “Reject non-essential” keeps them off, and closing the banner without choosing changes nothing. Your choice is kept for 12 months and applies to both the website and the app. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to keep marketing cookies off.
Third-party services
Some cookies are set by services we use, such as Stripe during checkout and Google Analytics for analytics. When you allow analytics or marketing, those providers handle the data under their own privacy policies. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google services are told what you allowed.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in or checkout from working.
For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
