Copyright & DMCA Policy
Miclody respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged infringement, including under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Filing a notice
Send a written notice to [your contact email] that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the material on Miclody you claim infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it (for example, the track or release link).
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you have the rights to use it, send a counter-notice to [your contact email] with your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have filed legal action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, and we may withhold earnings connected to infringing releases.
Platform claims
Distributed releases may also receive claims on third-party platforms. We will notify you and help you respond where we can.
